It seems to be part of Google’s continuous efforts to improve its search capabilities by highlighting more organized, community-generated content alongside standard web results.
The “Forums” tab likely enables users to easily access discussions, Q&A threads, and user-created content from platforms like OpenAI’s forums, Marketingforum, or other community sites, simplifying the process of finding valuable conversations and insights.
I’d say this is an outstanding UI enhancement for 2025.
This addition aligns with Google’s overarching goal of incorporating a wider variety of content types into search, including news, images, videos, and now forums, to deliver a more holistic user experience.
